Du 28 jusqu’au 30mars dernier, l’ONU Femmes et l’UNESCO ont lancé le Guide mondial arabe sur la violence sexiste dans les écoles.
Au cours de cette journée, tenue à l’Hôtel Movenpick, un atelier régional pour les jeunes sur la lutte contre la violence à l’égard des femmes et des filles dans les États arabes, soutenue par le gouvernement du Japon, a réuni des jeunes de la région, dont l’Algérie, l’Égypte, l’Iraq, la Jordanie, le Liban et le Maroc, qui ont discuté un ensemble de priorités et de stratégies régionales visant à lutter contre cet état inhumain que vivent des milliers de femmes arabes et à adopter un Appel à l’action des jeunes pour mettre fin à cette barbarie.
