Le Président de la République, M. Emmanuel Macron, et le Directeur général de La Fondation Sanofi Espoir, M. Paul Hudson, assistent au déchargement de l’aide humanitaire française d’urgence à Beyrouth.
Un don de 1,6 tonne de médicaments.
Don de 1,6 tonne supplémentaire de médicaments dans le cadre de l’opération « Un bateau pour le Liban ».

Pour continuer à répondre aux besoins humanitaires causés par la tragique explosion qui a frappé Beyrouth, la Fondation a coordonné un don supplémentaire de 1,6 tonne de médicaments de Sanofi. Ce don s’inscrit dans le cadre de sa participation à l’opération « Un bateau pour le Liban » menée par CMA CGM.
Présence des autorités.
Ces produits médicaux ont été acheminés à Beyrouth par le navire CMA CGM Aknoul.
Celui-ci est actuellement en cours de déchargement. À cette occasion, Emmanuel Macron, Président de la République française, a assisté à l’opération. Il était accompagné de Paul Hudson, Directeur général de Sanofi, et de Rodolphe Saadé, président-directeur général du Groupe CMA CGM.
La Fondation Sanofi Espoir soutient les hôpitaux.
Parmi les médicaments destinés aux hôpitaux publics et privés beyrouthins figurent notamment des antibiotiques.
Une solidarité affirmée.
« Face à l’ampleur de cette catastrophe, Sanofi et Sanofi Espoir continuent à se mobiliser en faveur des patients beyrouthins »,
explique Valérie Faillat, Déléguée générale de la Fondation.
« Participer à cette opération humanitaire témoigne de notre solidarité avec les personnes touchées et de notre engagement continu en santé ».
Une aide suivie.
Cette contribution fait suite à un premier don de 4 tonnes de médicaments et de vaccins. Ces produits ont été acheminés le 7 août avec le soutien du ministère des Armées. L’opération a été menée en collaboration avec le Centre de crise et de soutien du ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères, l’association Tulipe et UNICEF.
