L’Améthyste, cette pierre qui apaise et révèle
D’après les livres, l’Améthyste est une variété de quartz. Une pierre semi-précieuse.
Un éclat minéral à la teinte violette. Son nom vient du grec methustos – qui signifie « ivre ». Paradoxalement, c’est justement une pierre contre l’ivresse.
Dans l’Antiquité, l’Améthyste ornait les bagues des pharaons.
On la sculptait pour les intailles, ces sceaux magiques et sacrés. Elle était déjà, à l’époque, associée à la sagesse et à la protection. Mystérieuse et lumineuse à la fois.
Aujourd’hui, on la trouve partout. En bijouterie, sur les marchés, dans les boutiques de minéraux. Sous forme de collier, de pendentif, de galet poli. Ou tout simplement en pierre brute, posée sur une étagère comme une offrande.
Mais moi, je l’ai rencontrée autrement. Par hasard. Ou par destin. C’était un matin doux, dans une petite boutique de bijoux. Une lumière filtrée. Une vitrine modeste. Et au fond, ce violet étrange qui m’appelait.
J’ai toujours été attirée par sa couleur lavande. Éthérée. Fascinante. Mais je ne savais rien de ses vertus. Un ami bijoutier, doux rêveur aux mains pleines de pierres, m’a parlé. De traditions, croyances et secrets enfouis dans le cristal.
L’Améthyste, selon lui, serait un remède à l’âme troublée.
Elle chasse les dépendances. Apaise les pulsions. Elle serait bonne pour l’esprit, pour l’équilibre intérieur. Une pierre du mental clair et des émotions canalisées.
Elle aurait, dit-on, un lien direct avec le divin. Elle serait la pierre des évêques. Des prières silencieuses. Des voyages de l’âme. Elle veille sur les anciens. Elle calme les pensées trop vives. Et lorsqu’on la tient dans la paume, elle murmure un peu de paix.
Je l’ai écouté. Je l’ai cru, peut-être. Mais ce qu’il ignorait, c’est que j’étais déjà conquise.
Par cette pierre. Par l’Améthyste. Car parfois, on n’a pas besoin de croire pour ressentir.
Il suffit d’un regard. D’une vibration. Et d’un bijou chargé de lumière.
