Damas Alep : Un voyage entre blessures et mémoire
Depuis l’enfance, un nom me fait rêver : Duraid Lahham.
Son humour tendre, sa vérité simple. De Ghawar el Tocheh à aujourd’hui, il a traversé les époques avec la noblesse des grands. Et le voilà de retour, plus humain que jamais, dans “Damas Alep”, un film poignant. Il incarne une figure familière, forcée à la retraite. Isolé, vieilli, mais digne, il décide de quitter la capitale… pour Alep, où vit l’une de ses filles.
Une Syrie dans un bus.
Tout se passe dans un bus. Un bus entre deux villes, entre deux mondes. Entre ce qui a été… et ce qui reste.
Des passagers s’y retrouvent. Ils viennent d’horizons divers. Leurs pensées, leurs blessures, leurs souvenirs, s’entrelacent. Leur silence parfois en dit plus long que les mots. À travers eux, l‘histoire devient une fresque. Une photographie humaine d’une nation brisée mais vivante.
Le regard de Basel Al Khatib.
Le réalisateur, Basel Al Khatib, a voulu parler vrai. Avec des comédiens de théâtre, jeunes et anciens. Il tisse les générations, mêle les vécus, expose la douleur. Mais aussi l’espoir.
Il le dit clairement : “Damas Alep” n’est qu’un film parmi d’autres à venir. Car on ne guérit pas si vite d’une tragédie. Il faut témoigner. Encore et encore. Pour ne pas oublier. Pour que le sang versé ait un sens.
Damas Alep : Quand le réel devient surréel.
Dans ce film, la réalité dépasse parfois la fiction. Des scènes de la vie quotidienne apparaissent absurdes. Tellement absurdes qu’on en rit… jaune.
Mais c’est aussi cela, le génie du film : Faire parler l’absurde, révéler les contradictions, tendre un miroir à notre propre humanité.
Damas Alep : Une lumière sur le cinéma syrien.
Malgré la guerre, malgré l’exil, le cinéma syrien veut renaître. Et “Damas Alep” y contribue. Avec peu de moyens. Mais avec une sincérité brute.
Le film a déjà touché les cœurs arabes. Il a même ouvert le 34e Festival du film méditerranéen d’Alexandrie. Et remporté deux prix. Des échos prometteurs pour un film ancré dans la vérité.
