Beyrouth, le 12 octobre 2020. Une fois de plus, GROHE a convaincu. Elle se retrouve parmi les finalistes sélectionnées par un jury d’experts dans la catégorie Ressources. Elle est donc candidate au Prix allemand de développement durable 2021.
Un prix aligné sur l’Agenda 2030.
Le Prix allemand de développement durable a été repensé. Son évaluation est désormais plus alignée avec les objectifs de développement durable de l’Agenda 2030 des Nations Unies. Cela a conduit à une nouvelle répartition par champs de transformation. L’annonce du vainqueur aura lieu le 4 décembre 2020.
Les finalistes recevront une récompense pour la responsabilité environnementale.
Ce prix est organisé par la Stiftung Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis e.V. (Fondation du Prix allemand de développement durable). Il rend hommage aux entreprises qui allient réussite économique, responsabilité sociale et protection de l’environnement. Cette reconnaissance en est à sa 13ᵉ édition.
Les finalistes : GROHE dans la catégorie Ressources.
« Nous apprécions énormément le fait que nos efforts en matière de ressources soient remarqués et appréciés », a déclaré Thomas Fuhr. Il est directeur des opérations Accessoires de LIXIL International et co-directeur général de Grohe AG.
« La nomination en tant que finaliste est pour nous une motivation supplémentaire. Elle nous pousse à continuer à promouvoir activement la conservation des ressources. Cela concerne non seulement nos produits économes en eau et en énergie, mais aussi toute notre chaîne de valeur, y compris le conditionnement. »
Une stratégie globale : l’initiative Less Plastic.
Dans le cadre de l’initiative Less Plastic (Moins de plastique), GROHE a déjà économisé 21 millions d’emballages plastiques. Cela représente les deux tiers de l’objectif total, fixé à 35 millions d’unités.
Une ambition durable et continue.
Chez GROHE, le développement durable est un processus en constante évolution. L’entreprise s’est fixée des objectifs ambitieux. D’ici 2021, tous ses emballages seront conçus sans plastique. En plus des sites de production déjà neutres en carbone, les activités commerciales seront également concernées.
Une reconnaissance récurrente.
Grâce à ces efforts continus, GROHE est finaliste du Prix allemand de développement durable pour la troisième fois consécutive.
